Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to paid IsItWired subscriptions.
1. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your IsItWired subscription at any time.
Unless otherwise stated during checkout, your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current paid billing period.
After cancellation:
- You will not be charged for the next renewal period.
- You may continue using paid features through the end of your current paid period.
- Your account may automatically return to the Free plan after the paid period ends.
Canceling your subscription does not automatically provide a refund for charges already processed.
2. Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscription payments are non-refundable once the applicable subscription period has begun and access to paid features has been provided, except where required by applicable law or otherwise approved under this Policy.
Prorated refunds are not provided for unused days remaining in a monthly billing period.
3. Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscription payments are non-refundable once access to the annual subscription has been provided, except where required by applicable law or otherwise approved under this Policy.
Canceling an annual subscription prevents renewal for the following year but does not result in a prorated refund for unused months.
4. Refund Requests We Will Review
We may review refund requests involving:
- Duplicate charges.
- An incorrect subscription charge.
- A technical issue that prevented access to paid IsItWired features for a material portion of the paid period.
- An unauthorized charge, subject to verification.
- Other circumstances where a refund is required under applicable law.
When contacting support, please provide your account email and relevant transaction details.
5. Change-of-Mind and Usage-Based Refunds
Except where required by applicable law, refunds are not provided because:
- You changed your mind after purchasing.
- You did not use all included Opportunity Checks or Deep Analyses.
- You did not use the Service during part of your subscription period.
- A government opportunity did not result in a desired outcome.
- You disagree with a Wired Score, assessment, recommendation, or other informational output.
- You won or lost a government-contracting opportunity.
IsItWired provides informational and decision-support software and does not guarantee procurement outcomes.
6. Gumroad Transactions
Payments for IsItWired are processed by Gumroad as Merchant of Record.
Refund requests may therefore be processed through Gumroad and are also subject to Gumroad's applicable Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
Gumroad provides buyers with channels to request refunds and recognizes applicable statutory refund and withdrawal rights.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to override any rights that cannot legally be waived.
7. Statutory Consumer Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or other consumer rights that apply regardless of this Policy.
Where applicable law provides greater rights than this Policy, applicable law controls.
8. Refund Abuse and Chargebacks
Refunds may be denied where permitted by law if we reasonably identify fraud, repeated refund abuse, intentional circumvention of subscription limits, or other manipulative activity.
If you experience a billing issue, please contact us before filing a chargeback or payment dispute so we can attempt to resolve it directly. Chargebacks or disputes filed without first contacting support may result in account suspension or termination, and we reserve the right to contest chargebacks we believe were filed in bad faith or in violation of this Policy.
9. Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed through the payment provider that processed the original transaction.
The time required for funds to appear in your account may depend on the payment provider, your bank, card issuer, payment method, and applicable financial networks.
